Billboard Music Awards 2020: Post Malone e Lil Nas X lideram indicações

O Billboard Music Awards divulgou nesta terça-feira (22) os indicados à premiação deste ano. O evento que foi adiado por causa da pandemia de covid-19 tem data para acontecer no dia 14 de outubro e será apresentado novamente por Kelly Clarkson.

Post Malone lidera o número de indicações em 15 categorias, incluindo Melhor Artista, Melhor Artista na Hot 100 e Melhor Música na Rádio. Em seguida, dois novos nomes aparecem na disputa: Lil Nas X, com 13 indicações, e Billie Eilish, com 12. O Khalid ainda empata com Billie na terceira posição. Confira a lista completa ao final.

Outro destaque fica para Kanye West com 9 indicações para o álbum “Jesus Is King” na categoria de música cristã, incluindo Melhor Artista Cristão, Top Artista Gospel, Top Álbum Cristão e Gospel. O rapper também concorre contra si mesmo pelo prêmio de Top Música Gospel com as faixas “Closed on Sunday,” “Follow God,” “On God” e “Selah”.

Os indicados são escolhidos de acordo com os charts da Billboard entre 23 de março de 2019 a 14 março de 2020. Anteriormente, a premiação aconteceria no dia 29 de abril, mas foi adiada por causa da pandemia. O Billboard Music Awards acontece no dia 14 de outubro, às 21h (horário de Brasília).
