Nesta segunda-feira (16) a MTV anunciou os indicados ao MTV Video Music Awards 2018. A premiação acontece no dia 20 de agosto, a partir das 22h no Radio City Music Hall, em Nova Iorque e será transmitida ao vivo para o mundo inteiro.
Ao todo são 18 categorias como Artista do Ano, Música do Ano, Clipe do Ano, Artista Revelação, Melhor Clipe Latino, além das das categorias técnicas como Melhor Edição, Melhor Direção, Melhor Direção de Arte e Melhor Efeito Visual.
A cantora Cardi B foi o grande nome entre os indicados, com um total de 10 indicações. Beyoncé e Jay-Z receberam 8 indicações por seu projeto The Carters. Entre os outros indicados estão artistas de destaque na música pop como Ariana Grande, Bruno Mars, Camila Cabello, Childish Gambino, Drake, entre outros.
