A Banda atualmente com a formação de: Alexia Rodriguez, Anissa Rodriguez,Brandon Anderson,Gregory Kerwin, Caleb Clifton. A vocalista, Alexia Rodriguez respondeu algumas perguntas feitas pela nossa produção:

The Band now with the formation of: Alex Rodriguez, Anissa Rodriguez, Brandon Anderson, Gregory Kerwin, Caleb Clifton. The singer, Alex Rodriguez answered some questions for our production:

1 – Antes de tudo. Porque vocês escolheram este nome para a banda?
1. Nós escolhemos “Eyes Set To Kill” como o nome da nossa banda porque achamos que nos representou perfeitamente. Veio de um poema que eu escrevi sobre um criminoso que tinha “olhos voltados pra matança”. Ele tinha sede de vingança, então planejou cometer um crime perfeito, e não ser preso. É apenas uma história sobre um indivíduo com determinação e a paixão, e que é algo que nós podemos nos identificar. Nós somos uma banda muito centrada, determinada e preparada chegar mais longe possível. Bem, de alguma maneira, isso significa Eyes are Set To Kill.
2-Quando vocês foram ouviam quando eram jovem?
Quando eu era mais jovem eu ouvia antiflag, blink 182, and thrice. Eu ainda escuto essas bandas, mas tenho aumentado a variedade músical.
3-Como você lida com a fama?
Bem eu realmente não nos vemos como famosos … mas, mostra que realmente louco quando as crianças nos dizem que inspiramos eles!
Se fomos famosos e não recebemos essas mesmas crianças nos dizendo isso, então não sei como eu vivo!
Essas são as pessoas que nos mantêm na estrada e em uma maneira que eles nos inspiram também.
4-Se vocês poderiam fazer uma turnê com outra banda, que banda que é que vocês vão escolher?
Nós já tocamos com muitas bandas incríveis! Nós amamos estar em turne e fazer novos amigos.
Eu acho que a melhor parte da turne é conseguir ter contato com outras bandas , por que isso funciona quase como uma família durante a turne
com eles. A minha tour dos sonhos seria abrir pro Muse ou pro Thrice, ele tem sido minha banda preferidas por um tempo.
5-O que você mais gosta de ouvir antes do show? Ou você tem algum tipo o ritual antes de entrar no palco?
Esse tipo de música me relaxa e eu penso de uma forma que me leva para um lugar diferente, antes de eu ter que começar.
Temos tentado rituais antes de esquecê-los, mas fazemos sempre haha mas fazemos aquecimento antes todo show porque estamos juntos

8- O que vocês gostam de fazer para se divertir quando você tiver um tempo livre?
Eu gosto de pintar / desenhar ouvir música com o meu melhor amigo e outras coisas. Anissa Caleb e ir em bicicletas
com o nosso cão rocco. Greg trava com a sua família e toca violão. Brandon gosta de ficar com os amigos em casa.A única coisa que nos separa é a distância as nossas casas.
9-Lugar em que você mais gostou de jogar?
San Antonio é sempre divertido por causa dos fans e dos amigos.Mas Corpus Christi super legal também

10-Deixe-amesege para a nação e para os fãs de música
Nós não seria capazes de fazer qualquer coisa sem os nossos fãs e seu amor. Estamos agradecidos com eles que acreditam em se mostrando e nos mantem aos nossos shows. Sem eles, não creio que ainda seriamos uma banda. E eu quero agradecer a todos que mantem o hardcore, metal cena viva, porque mesmo que eles não são grandes fãs da gemte, eles ainda estão mantendo nós na estrada e muitas outras bandas do gênero como o nosso bem.

1- First of all. Why you guys chose this name to the band?
we chose the phrase, Eyes Set To Kill, as our band name because I thought it represented us perfectly. It came from a poem I wrote about a criminal who’s”eyes were set to kill”. He was angry with vengance so he conspired to comit the perfect crime with out getting caught. It is just a story about a guy with determination and passion and that is the part of him that we can all relate to and that is the part of him that I am connected to. We are a very driven band and determined and prepared to reach the highest of heights. So in a way it means our Eyes are Set To Kill.
2-When you guys were yunger,what do you listen?
When I was younger I used to listen to antiflag, blink 182, and thrice. I still listen to them today but I have widened my variety of music.
3-How you guys handle with the fame ?
Well I don’t really see us as famous… but at shows it really crazy when kids tell us we inspire them! If we were famous and we didn’t get those same kids telling us that, then I don’t know how I would live! Those are the people that keep us on the road and in a way they inspire us too.
4-If you guys could do a tour with another band,what band do you guys will choose?
We have played with a lot of amazing bands already! We love touring and making new friends. I think one of the best part about tours is getting to know all the other bands, becuase its almost like we become a family with them for however long we are touring with them. I think that my dream tour would be opening up for muse or thrice becuase they have been my favorite acts for awhile.
5-What do you like to listen before the show?Or you have some kind o ritual before entering in the stage?
I don’t usually listen to music right before we go on. . But during the day I like to listen to some chill, mellow stuff. Like Deathcab for cutie, denali, as tall as lions, eisley, glen hansard and marketa irglova. Soft music kind of relaxes me and I think in a way it takes me to a different place before I have to perform. We have tried rituals before but we always forget them haha but we do warm up before everyshow together becuase we are nerds like that haha

8-What you guys like to do to have fun when you have a free time ?
I like to paint/draw play music with my best friend and stuff. Anissa and caleb go on bikerides with our dog rocco. Greg hangs out with his family and plays guitar. Brandon hangs out with his friends at home. We all hang out with eachother and practice when we are home. The only thing that separates us is the distance between all of our houses.
9-Place in which you most liked to play?
San Antonio is always fun becuase of our fans and friends. But Corpus Christi is crazy fun too! We always have a blast with their crowds.
10-Leave amesege to the fans and to nation of music
We wouldn’t be able to do anything with out our fans and their love. We are sooooo thankful they believe in us and keep showing up to our gigs. Without them, I don’t think we would still be a band. And I want to thank anyone who is even keeping the hardcore, metal scene alive becuase even if they aren’t a huge fan of us, they are still keeping us on the road and many other bands of our genre as well.
