Foi celebrada na noite dessa quarta-feira (14), em Los Angeles, a cerimônia do Billboard Music Awards 2020. Apresentado pela cantora Kelly Clarkson, o evento premiou grandes nomes de diversos gêneros musicais.
Conforme você havia conferido aqui na NM, o cantor Post Malone liderava as indicações e estava concorrendo em quinze categorias. Seguido dele estavam o rapper Lil Nas X e Billie Eilish, que haviam sido nomeados em treze e doze categorias, respectivamente.
Vale ressaltar que as indicações levavam em consideração os charts da Billboard do período de 23 de março de 2019 a 14 março de 2020, uma vez que a premiação estava marcada para acontecer em abril desse ano, mas teve que ser adiada devido à pandemia do coronavírus.
